The Franklin-Southampton Chamber of Commerce will host a legislative breakfast with Gov. Ralph Northam on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in Paul D. Camp Community College’s Regional Workforce Development Center.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Northam during the breakfast reception. Remarks will follow on Virginia’s workforce, education and other initiatives relevant to the business community.

“We’re delighted he [Gov. Northam] accepted our invitation,” said FS Chamber President Teresa Beale, explaining that a member of the Chamber’s board had reached out to the governor’s office earlier this year to see if he would be available.

“It will be a good networking time for our businesses to mix and mingle with each other,” she added.
