City police seek grand larceny suspects

FRANKLIN

Franklin Police are searching for two suspects accused of grand larceny.

According to Capt. Tim Whitt, spokesman for the Franklin Police Department, officers responded to the Walmart on Armory Drive on Monday after it was reported that two black males entered the store, one of whom removed a cash register box from an unattended register. Police say the second suspect acted as a lookout. Both then exited the store. The register box contained cash in excess of $500.

Images of the suspects were captured on the store’s surveillance system.

If anyone can identify the two suspects, they are asked to call Franklin Police at 562-8587, or Franklin Crime Solvers at 562-8599.

Information that leads to an arrest can earn the caller a reward while remaining anonymous.
