ORLANDO, Fla. — Roosevelt Austin Jr., 72, formerly of Branchville, Virginia, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018, at Cornerstone Hospice of Orlando Health in Orlando, Florida.

Roosevelt was born April 9, 1946, to the parentage of Roosevelt Austin Sr. and Tempie Lewis Austin.

Loving memories of his life will forever be remembered and cherished by his two daughters, Gwendolyn Evette Austin and Rolanda Jeanette Austin; his son, Roosevelt Austin III; his brother, Ricky Austin; his two sisters, Sandra Austin and Regina Wray; a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

T.L. Faison’s Funeral Care LLC at 301 Park St., Seaboard, North Carolina, have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

The celebration of life will at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, in the J.W. Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Emporia, Virginia.
