COURTLAND
The Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Tribe is gearing up for its annual Native American Revival Crusade for Christ (Yeshua) titled “The Great Awakening of the Holy Spirit.”

The event will be on Saturday, Sept. 8, from noon to 4 p.m., on the Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Tribal Land. Cattashowrock Town, Route 742 South, 27345 Aquia Path, Courtland.

Guest gvangelist will be Chief Steve Silverheels, D.D., son of Tonto on the TV series “The Lone Ranger.”

The revival is free, and the invitation is extended to all tribes, chiefs, preachers/evangelists, churches and the public to attend.

Witness the blowing of the Shofars and the Bezalel Dancers by representatives of the “Lion of Judah.”

Experience the breath of the Holy Spirit, the sound of the Healing Drum and claim your spiritual/physical healing.

A number of singers will perform, including the Diamond Grove Baptist Church Choir under the direction of Curtis Chappel.

Chief Walt “Red Hawk” Brown stated that during a 1976 speech in Arizona, Evangelist Billy Graham prophesized that there shall be a “Great American awakening of souls coming to Christ and it shall be lead by Native Americans.”

“So as commanded, we are doing our part to bring this prophesy to fruition,” Brown added. “Come into our blessed tribal sacred circle and bring your sick, your wheelchair bound, your cancer-stricken, your depressed without peace and joy and receive your healing. Come out of darkness into the marvelous light. For we as native people have been wounded by injustice, yet healed by the spirit and peace and Love of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.”
