Dr. Alvin “Andy” W. Anderson Sr., 87, of Suffolk, died on July 21, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara “Bobbi” Anderson; daughters Brenda Anderson Livingston of Chester, Julia Anderson Pauley (Brian) of Marion; and son Alvin W. “Andy” Anderson Jr. (Kathleen) of Suffolk.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 26 at 7 p.m. in the Windsor Congregational Christian Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27 at 2 p.m., also in the Windsor Congregational Christian Church. A private burial will be held at the Andersons’ native American burial ground at 4 p.m. Donations may be made to the Nansemond Indian Nation at www.nansemond.org/donate, the American Cancer Society or Windsor Congregational Christian Church.
