WINDSOR
Isle of Wight County has chosen a location for its meeting on Friday, July 20, concerning the construction of a 60-bed juvenile correctional facility within the county. The meeting will be in the Windsor Ruritan Clubhouse, 1400 Community Drive, Windsor, at 10 a.m.

According to Assistant County Administrator Don Robertson, this will be an intergovernmental meeting between the county, representatives from Windsor’s town government and representatives from the state. Though the meeting is open to the public, there will not be a public comment period during this time.

The location within the county being considered for the correctional facility is the Shirley T. Holland Intermodal Park, located just outside of Windsor.
