FREDERICKSBURG — Gerald Lee Elks, 56, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018, in Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.

Gerry touched many lives through his work as an EMT with AMR, and as a Master Mason with Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 151.
He was an Eagle Scout, and loved the Washington Redskins.
Gerry was a friend to many and was devoted to helping others.
Survivors include wife, Robin Elks; daughter, Jennifer Elks Hamilton (Brandon;) stepdaughter, Melanie Hamilton (Drew;) granddaughter, Harper Kate Hamilton; his parents, Gerald and Opal Elks; and brother, David Elks (Sandra.)
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 9, in Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Another memorial service will be on Saturday, July 21, at 11 a.m. in Franklin Baptist Church. A luncheon will be served at noon in the fellowship hall.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the new part of the cemetery on Homestead Road.
