The Virginia Department of Transportation on Tuesday completed bridge repairs on Buckhorn Quarter Road (State Route 652) in Capron nearly one week early.

Work on the bridge’s superstructure began on June 11 and was scheduled to be completed this Friday, June 29.

The road is now open and the detour has been lifted.
