HAMPTON — Mr. John Edward Whitfield of Johnson Mill Road, Sedley, departed this earthly life on June 19, 2018, in the Hampton Veterans Hospital.

The celebration of life service will be on Thursday, June 21, at 11 a.m., in Franklin at the Engram Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery on Milners Road, Suffolk.
