DREWRYVILLE — Peggie Beale Cobb, 86, widow of Robert Samuel Cobb, passed away on June 13, 2018, in her home.

She was born in Chuckatuck, Virginia, to the late Margaret B. Newsome, was the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Beale of Chuckatuck, and was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church.

Peggie is survived by a daughter, Stacie Cobb Ezell of Drewryville; two sons, Robert Samuel Cobb Jr. (Gail) of Eufaula, Alabama, and Charles B. Cobb (Nancy) of Capron; and three grandchildren, Hunter Cobb Ezell, Robert Samuel Cobb III and William Hugh Cobb.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 15, in Thomas Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor David Everett officiating. Burial will follow in Drewryville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church, and a reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall.

Memorials may be made to Drewryville Volunteer Fire Department or Thomas Memorial Baptist Church.
