LENOIR CITY, Tenn. — Margaret Francis Drake, 91, passed on June 3, 2018, clutching the hand of her loving husband in Lenoir City, Tennessee.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joshua A. and Dona V. Francis, she is survived by her husband of 69 years, William Lewis Drake Sr.; son, William and wife, Nancy of Brookneal, Virginia; daughter, Janet of Buena Vista, Virginia; daughter, Carol Hall and husband, Dennis of Lenoir City; eight grandchildren, Will, Melody, Virginia (Lori,) Kayla, Alex, Zach, Kelly, Erin; nine great-grandchildren; and loving caregiver, Gayle McDaniel.

Margaret was also preceded in death by her sisters, Elsie Dover, Gladys Draper, Jesse Withers, Bertha Vaughan; and her brothers, Monty Francis, Herbert Francis, Vernie Francis Sr. and L.T. Francis.

Margaret’s celebration of life service is on Wednesday, June 6, from 5 to 7 p.m., in Click Funeral Home.
