FRANKLIN
Cypress Cove Country Club is hosting Golf Community Day to residents of Franklin and Southampton County on Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be free golf clinics on driving, putting and chipping for men, women and kids (ages 6 and up when accompanied by an adult.) These will be followed by skills contests for driving, putting and chipping with prizes to be awarded for each. Golf clubs will be available for use if needed.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available at the site. 

In preparation, the club had offered golf clinics for women, which took place on Wednesdays in April for $10 per session. The first was reportedly successful with 22 women attending. Clinics for men and children also were offered.

Come on out and try the game of golf for free, and bring your friends.
