To the Editor:

We are so excited to see concerned citizens stepping up to clean our little corner of Mother Earth. The Southampton County Littler Control Council has trash bags and litter grabbers available to aid your organization in cleaning up your chosen area. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated by your community.

As the weather warms and we spend more time out of doors, being mindful and treating our environment with respect is a goal we all should work to achieve.

Please recycle  your plastic, glass or aluminum beverage containers, and dispose of your fast food trash responsibly.

Always try to leave where you have been better than when you got there.

A cleaner, healthier environment can be achieved if we all behave responsibly.
