Park and Rec youth baseball continues

FRANKLIN
Action of the youth baseball league, sponsored by the Down the Middle Foundation and the Franklin Department of Parks & Recreation, continued play on Saturday at Armory Drive Recreational Park.

Finally, the weather warmed up to provide a delightful day for the athletes and spectators to enjoy some baseball.

The 10 a.m. opening T-Ball game featured the Gators versus Tigers, followed by the T-ball game between the Paul D. Camp Hurricanes vs. Miami Hurricanes.

The coach-pitch game at noon pitted the Mets against the Nationals. Playing at 1 p.m. was the Nationals versus the Royals.

Games will be played each Saturday morning, beginning at 10, through Saturday, May 5, at the Armory Drive Recreational Park youth baseball field.
