Broncos claim first win at nets

A young Bronco Boys’ tennis team claimed its first win on Wednesday with a win over the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School. The Broncos recorded a 6-1 win over the Dragons playing at the tennis courts at Franklin High School. But once again a match with both teams’ No. 1 players went the three-set distance during play.

After a long battle between the two players, the Broncos’ William Wellons was victorious over the Dragons’ Jason Brown after taking a 7-4 win in the third set in a tiebreak.
