All lanes of Route 460 (Windsor Boulevard) are currently blocked in both directions near the highway’s intersection with State Route 645 (Yellow Hammer Road) in Zuni due to a fatal crash involving a grain truck.

According to Sgt. Michelle Anaya, spokeswoman for the Virginia State Police, the accident occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. today in the eastbound lanes of Route 460. A two-axle grain truck reportedly ran off the roadway onto the westbound shoulder, overcorrected and crossed the center lines, striking a passenger vehicle head on. Two passengers are confirmed deceased.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is en route to set up a detour.
