FRANKLIN — Oscar Reynolds, 74, formerly of Carrsville and Suffolk, passed away on March 14, 2018, in Concordia Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Bay Pointe in Virginia Beach.

He was born on March 19, 1943, in Jonesville, Virginia, to the late Lee and Eunice Hensley Reynolds, and was also predeceased by his wife, Judith Croumie Reynolds; two children, William and Sharon Reynolds; and two sisters Ruby and Roxie.
Oscar was an Army veteran, former co-owner of Airway Texaco, former corrections officer with VA Dept. of Corrections and a former contractor.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Keith Reynolds and Kevin Reynolds (Sara); a stepdaughter Melissa K. Hall (Aaron;) two sisters, Renda Beale and Virgie Spivey; two brothers Clyde and Gene Reynolds; and two grandchildren Steven and Spencer Reynolds.
The memorial service with military honors will held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 30, in Wright Funeral Home, 206 W. 4th Ave. Franklin. Burial will be private.
