FRANKLIN — Joseph Richard “Dick” Hachey, 90, passed away on March 14, 2018, in VCU/MCV Medical Center in Richmond.

Mr. Hachey was an Army veteran, merchant marine and Navy veteran, and was a retired assistant city attorney for Kansas City, Missouri.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marilyn Hickman Hachey; a daughter, Gerri Hachey; three sons, Glen, Mark and Russell Hachey; two grandchildren, Micayla Hendershot and Vanessa Downing;and his precious dog, Noah.

Memorial services will be private.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to any veteran group.
