COURTLAND
An investigation into alleged sexual misconduct with minors has resulted in the arrest of Charles Bryan Williams Jr. of 20317 Governor Darden Road in Courtland. This arrest took place in Franklin, and is confirmed by Capt. Tim Whitt, spokesman for the city police department.

Two separate incidents — one on Oct. 25, 2017, and the other on Jan. 1, 2018, involving 15 and 16-year-old females — led the investigating detective to obtain warrants on the suspect for rape and consensual sex with a child.

Williams, 21, was arrested on Wednesday. He received no bond and was remanded to Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
