HAMPTON
The PDC Hurricanes won 5-2 against the Thomas Nelson Community College Gators from Hampton. The game took place on Thursday afternoon on Armory Field in Franklin.

Hurricanes’ Coach David Mitchell reported the following highlights:

• Michael Portela got the win on the mound.
• Victor Spence and Devin Sisson each had two hits.
• Paul Parker had one hit with an rbi
• Seth Konkel had one hit
• Logan Keheley pitched four innings and allowed for no runs.

“The Hurricanes scored four runs in the top of the eighth to win it,” said Mitchell.

The winners host Camden County on Saturday, March 10, in a double-header starting at 5 p.m. on Armory Field.

Bryant and Stratton, which won the double-header on March 3, returns on Wednesday, March 14,  at 3 p.m.
