FRANKLIN — Betty G. Bean joined her parents and siblings in heaven on Feb. 14, 2018.
She was a daughter of the late Isaac J. Greene and Nellie Mae Russell Greene.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Richard D. Bean; her brother, Eddie Earl Greene of Suffolk, Virginia; a sister, Deborah Jean Holly (Lynn) of Gloucester, Virginia. She had two children, Dana Louise Bean of Franklin, Virginia; and Brian Isaac Bean (Lisa) of Ivor, Virginia. She had five grandsons, listed as they were born: Melvin J. Dunlow III (Jessica) of Boykins, Virginia; Brian Zachary Bean of Ivor; Joshua Kyle Dunlow (Beth) of Branchville, Virginia; Daniel Scott Bean of Ivor; and Hubert Mathew Jr. of Newsoms, Virginia. There were four great-great-grandchildren also: Kaden Junius Dunlow, Maddyson Marie Dunlow, C.J. Bradshaw and Ryann Burkes.
The graveside service for Betty will be on Friday, March 9, at 2 p.m., in Southampton Memorial Park Cemetery, 27396 Pretlow Road.
