MURFREESBORO, N.C. — Charlie Maxwell Floyd Jr., 79, died on Feb. 2, 2019, in the Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, North Carolina.
After 40 years at Union Camp, he had retired from the heating and air conditioning maintenance department.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Floyd; his son, James Mark Floyd of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two grandchildren; one brother, David Guy Floyd of Yanceyville, North Carolina; and nieces and nephews.
The private graveside service was on Tuesday in Riverside Cemetery, Murfreesboro. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Rhema Bible Training College, 1025 W. Kenosha St., Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
