CHESAPEAKE — Elizabeth Bond Brinster, 50, wife, mother, daughter and sister, left her earthly body and earned her wings on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, after her courageous battle with kidney cancer.

Elizabeth was a native of Courtland, Virginia, and a 1985 graduate of Southampton Academy. She was an active member of Greenbrier Community Church.
Elizabeth was an inspirational and spiritual person. She enjoyed sharing her faith, her love of cooking, and spreading sunshine with “happy mail.”
Elizabeth will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend Mark; her precious children, Brendan, Cameron, Colton and Isabella; by her mother Lynda Bond; by her sisters, Karen, Suzan (Steve;) her two grandchildren, Bridgette and Parker; and her beloved dog, Raisin.
She is predeceased by her father, Edward O. Bond, and her brother, Edward Owen Bond Jr.
Elizabeth will also be forever remembered by her extended family and dear friends.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home in Franklin, Virginia.
The funeral will be on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m. with a visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the start of the service at Greenbrier Community Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.
