Annie Mae Beale

COURTLAND — Annie Mae Beale, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 2, 2018.
She was born on May 2, 1934, to the late Joe Cleveland and Nellie Doss Pittmon in Gretna, Virginia.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Willard Beale Jr., and her first husband, Floyd Lee McCann Jr.
She had attended Courtland Baptist Church, and was retired from Boykins Narrow Fabrics.
Left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Debra M. Harrell (Archer) of Capron; one son, James Carroll McCann of Courtland; six sisters, Cordie Lee Terry, Betty Jean Davis, Joan Dale Motley, Peggy Ann Eanes, Vickie Diane Pittmon and Myrtie Jo Giles; three brothers, Vernon, Johnny and Steve Pittmon; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Dr. Robert Carpenter officiating.
