FRANKLIN

Public schools in the city of Franklin and both Southampton and Isle of Wight counties will be closed on Thursday because of the inclement weather.

The announcements came from FCPS Deputy Superintendent Kelvin Edwards, Southampton Superintendent Dr. Gwendolyn Shannon and IWCS spokeswoman Lynn Briggs.
