Deputy superintendent Kelvin Edwards informed The Tidewater News on Tuesday evening that the decision to open city schools two hours late on Wednesday has been changed.

“Due to predicted weather conditions for this evening, and concern for the safety of our students and staff, Franklin City Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan, 10,” he stated in an email to the newspaper.
