COURTLAND — Mrs. Ceolia Person Brooks, 60, departed this earthly life on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, in Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, Virginia.

The homegoing services honoring her life and spirit will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, in Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Branchville, Virginia, with the Rev. Calvin Rooks delivering the eulogy. She will be laid to rest in the Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Branchville. Mrs. Brooks will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.
