FRANKLIN
The Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber of Commerce will host “Christmas Cheer at the Chamber” this Thursday, Dec. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Chamber office, located at 108 W. Third Ave., downtown Franklin.

Teresa Beale, executive director of the Chamber, said that the event would be an informal open house where chamber members and other area residents can stop in, have a snack and mix and mingle. The invitation sent out on Tuesday also indicated that door prizes and other surprises would be given out.
