COURTLAND
Contract crews for the Virginia Department of Transportation plan to intermittently close the crossover in front of the 7-Eleven located at 27414 Route 58 (Southampton Parkway) in Courtland. The intermittent closures are expected to occur between 7 a.m. Dec. 18 and 5 p.m. Dec. 21.

During the closure, motorists headed west on Southampton Parkway must make a U-turn at the intersection with Jerusalem Road (Business 58) if they wish to access businesses along the eastbound stretch of Southampton Parkway. Motorists leaving businesses along the eastbound side of Southampton Parkway will use an adjacent crossover to head in the westbound direction.

The purpose of this Courtland Interchange Project is to eliminate the existing signalized intersection at Routes 58 and 58 Business, in Courtland. The expected completion date is December 2018.
