Suspects are still being sought in connection to a robbery that took place at the Deli Express on Pretlow Street during the evening of Nov. 14. Capt. Tim Whitt, spokesman for the Franklin Police Department, said that officers responded to a call at 11:13. There they found that an employee, who had closed the business for the night, had been accosted outside by two suspects. One reportedly grabbed the employee from behind and the second pointed a gun in the victim’s face. He was robbed of his cellular phone and wallet, which had an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspects are described as black males, 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5′ 7″ with medium build. They were wearing black bandanas over their faces and were dressed in dark clothing. After robbing the victim, the men fled on foot toward Chestnut Street.

Police are also looking for suspects in the break-ins at the Chamber of Commerce and Britt & Peak earlier that night.
