FRANKLIN — Jeanette Pandora McAllister, Ph.D., 51, passed away on Nov. 9, 2017, in her home with her husband, Eddie, and faithful companion, Hannah, by her side.
Jeanette was born in Orlando, Florida, and was a daughter of the late J.P. Morgan and Carolyn Hughes Morgan. She was also predeceased by a brother, John Morgan, and two sisters, Donna Green and Charlotte McLawhorn.
Jeanette received her Master’s degree from Old Dominion University and her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech.
She was appointed by Gov. Terry McAuliffe to the State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Vision Impaired.
Jeanette was a member of Cedar Road Chapel, Chesapeake.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward Lee McAllister; two sons, Ronnie Schubert Jr. of Crossville, Tennessee; and Calvin Schubert of Cleveland, Tennessee; a sister, Alta Rowe of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Ricky Morgan of Benton, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Anna McAllister, and sister-in-law, Tracey McAllister, both of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The Celebration of Life service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, in Cedar Road Chapel, Chesapeake, with the Rev. Terry Reel officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
