HENRICO — Pattie Mae Artis, 88, formerly of Courtland, Virginia, departed this life on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett H. Artis; daughter, Cassandra Spruill; son, Lester Artis; and parents, Pearlie Bynum and John Dillard.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughters, Esther and Madeline Artis, Gloria Harding (Zebedee), LoFrandra Lewis (Darryl); and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains rest in March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23222, where viewing will be on Thursday, Nov. 9, from noon to 8 p.m.
The funeral will be at noon on Friday, Nov. 10, in Bryant Baptist Church, 23375 Bryant Church Road, Courtland. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
