CHESTER — Christopher Alan Wise, 54, met his heavenly father on Nov. 3, 2017.

He was born in Franklin, Virginia, to the late Marvin Ray Wise Sr. and Mary Brooks Wise.
Chris was a former employee of Union Camp Corp, was a former Iieutenant with the Driver Volunteer Fire Department in Suffolk, Virginia, and was the owner of Liberty Termite and Pest Control of Chester, Virginia.
Chris loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, the beach, karaoke and the Dallas Cowboys.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 18 years, Crystal Gardner Wise; son, C.J. Wise; daughter, Carmen Wise; brothers, Marvin Wise (Geri) and Larry Wise (Denise); sister, Carolyn Cook (Troy); two mothers-in-law; two fathers-in-law; sister and brother-in-law; many nieces, nephews, friends; and his dog, Lexi.
Heaven truly gained an angel. We will treasure our memories of him forever.
The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with Pastor Matthew Kidd officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
