FRANKLIN
In the early morning hours of Saturday, Franklin Police responded to a shots fired call in the 700 block of Cameron Street. Capt. Tim Whitt, department spokesman, said that during the investigation it was learned an apartment had been struck several times by gunfire, with at least five shots entering the structure.

There were four adults and five juveniles inside the apartment at the time shots were fired into it.

No one inside the apartment could provide suspect information, said Whit, and added that it’s unknown if this specific apartment was targeted or if there was another intended target.
