IVOR — Donald “Donnie” Robert Bracey, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, in his home surrounded by his family.
He was a longtime, faithful member of Millfield Baptist Church, and a charter member of Bent Barrel Hunt Club.
Donnie enjoyed spending time with his community, especially attending the local softball games.
The time he cherished the most was the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Vivian Joyner Bracey.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Teresa Mason Bracey; sons, Micky Bracey and wife, Michelle; and Ricky Bracey; daughter, Megan Bracey Demsko and husband, Blake; grandchildren, Jazmine Bracey, Darrien Bracey, Briley Philbrick, Luke Bracey and Lily Grace Demsko; sister, Dorothy Reveal; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 16, in Millfield Baptist Church, 31389 Millfield Road, Wakefield, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, in the church with the Rev. Brooks Gale officiating. Burial will follow in Ivor Cemetery.
