Franklin Youth Football and Cheer continues second week of play

FRANKLIN
The Franklin Youth Football and Cheer football program entered its second week of play with games held at the Armory Drive Park Football Stadium on Oct. 4.
Games are held every Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. with flag and junior league games followed by senior league games at 7 and 8 p.m.
The teams in the league are: The Surry County Cougars, the Holland Razorbacks, the Windsor Knights, the Boykins Bulldogs and the Franklin Mustangs. The ages of youth to participate are as follows: 6-8 flag football; 9-11, juniors and 12-13 seniors. Each team also has a cheering program.
Registration of youth interested in the league can also be done by using the website bluesombrero.com and searching for Franklin Youth Football and Cheer. Anyone needing additional information can contact the league commissioner, Junious Joyner, at 352-8601.
