FRANKLIN — Mr. Clifton Newby Jr. of Johnson Street passed away on Oct. 3, 2017, while a patient in Sentara Obici Hospital.
The service celebrating his life will be on Monday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m., in Main Street Baptist Church, 517 Main St, Smithfield, with the pastor, the Rev. Dr. James M. Harrison, delivering the eulogy. The interment will be in Mount Ray Cemetery, Surry.
