Walk In It to host rally

SUFFOLK
The sixth annual Stepping Out for Self Esteem Walk and Rally takes place on Saturday, Sept. 30, beginning at 9 a.m. with a gathering in the King’s Fork Middle School auditorium. Shortly after 10 am., the 1-mile walk will ensue on the school grounds. Afterward, the rally will take place in the auditorium and will feature a jump rope competition, dance off and step show exhibition. The event will conclude at noon with Spirit Awards presented in two categories: Community Spirit Award for the organization with the most representation and the most best overall spirit; and the School Spirit Award for the school with the most Ladies of Distinction in attendance and best overall spirit.

Registration is $25 per person and includes an event T-shirt and bracelet. Sponsors, vendors and donors are also welcomed to participate and may register at the same link. Registration deadline for online or in-person is that day.

Additionally, walkers may register on-site the day of the event beginning at 8:30 a.m.
