FRANKLIN — Johnnie Mae Wilson, 73, passed away on Sept. 18, 2017, in her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Franklin, and was a former resident of Norfolk.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frederick M. Wilson; two daughters, Mary Ortiz of Norfolk and Kimberly Wilson of Franklin; two sons, Ryland L. Wilson and his wife, Melinda, of Virginia Beach; and Keith Wilson of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Rodney Hawkins, Rena Bryant, Marshall Wright, Michelle Ortiz, Vanessa Jaurez, Chase Alexander and Laray Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren, Dominic Wright, Orion Davis, Story Wright, Miles Davis, Kiera Wright, Deliah Jaurez and Olivia Jaure.
Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by two sons, Frederick M. Wilson Jr. and Gregory Wilson.
