ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Guida Reinhard Lewis, 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017.

She was born on April 4, 1920, in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, to the late Clinton and Nora Mable Reinhard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan N. Lewis Sr.; daughter; Karen Wilma; and sisters, Rena R. Womelsdorf and Enola R. Hill.

She is survived by daughter, Asenath L. Briley and husband, Clayton, of Battleboro; son, Harlan N. Lewis Jr. and wife, Margaret, of Franklin, Virginia; grandchildren, Christian B. Davenport and husband, Wayne; Clayton K. Briley, Grayson Lewis and wife, Jessica; Jordan Lewis and Megan L. Chavis; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Maiya and Austin Davenport, Preston, Evan and Maribelle Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday at 1 p.m. in the mausoleum at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. following the visitation. The Rev. Howard Kendrick and the Rev. Terry M. Williams Sr. will officiate.
