WINDSOR — Alfred “Fred” Duncan Jr., 61, was called home to be with his Savior unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017.

Fred was a very active member of Mill Swamp Baptist Church and a well-known member of his community. Fred always enjoyed life to its fullest and loved photography, reading his Bible, spending time with his family and camping at the river.
In addition to close friends and loved ones, Fred was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Dr. Alfred J. Duncan Sr. and Thaddia Bell Duncan; as well as a sister, Karen Duncan Olin.
He is survived by his brothers, Mark Duncan, and Randy Olin; nieces and nephews, Amber, Robbie, R.J. and Jacob Wells, Kristin and Peyton Kessinger and Ashlynn Lane.
The celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, in Mill Swamp Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is being served by R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel.
