COURTLAND

The Virginia Department of Transportation has announced that the consecutive, alternating lane closures on U.S. 58 near the Courtland Interchange will continue for the week of Sept. 5-8 as follows:

The section of U.S. 58 between Old Bridge Road (Route 742) and Meherrin Road (Route 58 Business) will have alternating closures starting Tuesday, Sept. 5 from noon to 8 p.m.

The closures are to accommodate work on the Courtland Interchange project. Closures will affect all lanes eastbound and westbound. One lane will remain open at all times.
