COURTLAND
The Virginia Department of Transportation has announced that the consecutive, alternating lane closures on U.S. 58 near the Courtland Interchange will continue for the week of Aug.13 through 18 as follows:

• The section of U.S. 58 between Old Bridge Road (Route 742) and Shady Brook Trail (Route 650) will have alternating closures starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 14 and ending no later than noon on Friday, Aug. 18.
• The section of U.S. 58 between Ridley Road and Old Bridge Road will have alternating closures starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13, and ending no later than noon on Aug. 18.

The closures are to accommodate work on the Courtland Interchange project. Closures will affect all lanes eastbound and westbound. One lane will remain open at all times.
