FRANKLIN — Ray Newton “Ray Ray” Chapman Jr., 49, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017.

Ray Ray, who was born in Beckley, West Virginia, was a graduate of Windsor High School and a heavy equipment driver.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Ella Ree Barfield of Columbus, Georgia, and paternal grandparents, Victor and Jewel Jones of Franklin.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ray Newton Chapman Sr. and Rose Barfield Chapman; wife, Ann Falcone Chapman; daughter, Tiffany Chapman of Lusby, Maryland.; two sons, Johnathon Ray Newton Chapman of Lusby, and Joshua Ray Chapman of Murray, Kentucky; sister, Tammy C. Delahoussaye (David) of Lusby; brother, Johnny Chapman of Franklin; granddaughter, Analina
Delacruz; and friend, Shelia Lamb and her son, Brent Tucker Jr., both of Murray; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends and family.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug, 12, in the Jayton D. Patterson VFW Post 4411, 3385 Beaverdam Road, Franklin, with Chaplain Tim Carmony officiating.
