FRANKLIN — Margaret Shenstone Chase, 78, passed away on July 19, 2017, in her home.
Margaret was born in Leicester, England, and worked for over 40 years in retail sales as manager of G.C. Murphy, Ames and Cato. She enjoyed scrapbooking, camping, gardening, country line dancing and karaoke.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Connie Kirk Shenstone; a brother, Eric Harold Shenstone; and her companion of 30 years Tommy Holland.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Rusty Chase; three granddaughters, Lindsey Chase, Lauren Chase Acey and Leigh-Ann Chase; three great-grandchildren, Eastyn, Annistyn and Bristyn Acey; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Mae Shenstone; and caregivers, Gloria Wiggins and Regina Crockett.
The gathering of family and friends will be at 7 to 8:30 p.m., on Sunday, July 23, in Wright Funeral Home.
