On Monday, July 17, 2017, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Isle of Wight, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on a proposed budget amendment which exceeds one percent of the total expenditures shown in the adopted FY17-18 Operating and Capital Budget. Specifically, the amendment proposes to appropriate $2,057,300 General Fund Assigned Fund Balance to the Capital Project Fund. Further, the amendment will increase the FY17-18 General Fund by $6,360,445. The public hearing will be conducted in the Robert C. Claud, Sr. Board Room at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex on Route 258, 17130 Monument Circle, Isle of Wight, Virginia, during the Public Hearing section of the meeting which will begin at 6:00 p.m. Interested persons may appear at such time and place and present their views.
