More congratulations and celebrations are in order at the Franklin Business Center, as this spring and summer have proved to be another successful month of new clients and graduations. We could not be happier with the interest the Franklin Business Center incubation program has and continues to receive.

A round of applause is well deserved for both New Hope Family & Youth Relations Inc. and LandWerks Contracting LLC for their graduations from the Franklin Business Center this month.

New Hope Family & Youth Relations Inc., is an agency committed to optimizing the quality of life by providing services to individuals who are at risk for out-of-home placement. New Hope has been a client of the business center since 2007 and will continue to operate their business in Downtown Franklin post-graduation.

LandWerks Contracting LLC, a general site construction business that grades land, pours asphalt and concrete and also offers commercial landscaping among other services is graduating from the business center after almost two years of participation in the program.

Originally based in Suffolk, this operation has found a commercial location centrally located in Isle of Wight County.

A huge welcome and hello is given to the three newest client of the Franklin Business Center: Heritage Solutions, a property management, lawn maintenance and property renovation business; The Pool Geeks, a full service pool company; and Total & Personal Services LLC, a community-based service provider who provides assistance in long term care, waiver services and the elderly/disabled with consumer directive services.

With the addition of Heritage Solutions, The Pool Geeks and Total & Personal Services, 25 clients call the Franklin Business Center home and the facility is 72 percent occupied. There is still space available for current clients to grow and expand as well as space for new start up and expanding businesses to take root.
