Sekou Alphonso Perry, 31, of the 21000 block of Bethel Road in Franklin, was arrested without incident after deputies with the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at approximately 10 a.m. in reference to possession of child pornography, which is in violation of Virginia Code 18.2-374.1:1. During the investigation the physical address of the internet connection that was downloading child pornography was determined to be on Bethel Road.
Southampton County deputies worked with investigators with the SOVA ICAC, specifically detectives from the Virginia Beach Police Department, after the residence was identified as being in Southampton County.
