The Board of Directors June meeting was recently held at Rawls Museum Arts. Board members were able to view the latest art exhibit and enjoyed lunch catered by Pino’s.

President Pam Lease led several topics of discussion with these community leaders: participation in the United for Impact kids college class, Donna C. McCullough Chamber Scholarship awarded to Brittany Bunn and the VA Chamber Blueprint 2025.

Lease also announced plans for the next Leadership Connection and the formation of the CEO Roundtable committee chaired by Keith Wahoske.

Updates were reported by Franklin-Southampton Economic Development Inc., Downtown Franklin Association and Paul D. Camp Community College.

The Membership Engagement team led by VP’s Mandy Hall and Jesse Hellyer reported on the recent Business After Hours at Highground Services and upcoming membership activities.

They also asked board members to answer these questions, “What do you see as one of the best benefits of being a Chamber member?” and “What would you like to see more of in the Chamber?”
