ORDER OF PUBLICATION

 

The Plaintiff, the City of Franklin, filed this suit pursuant to Va. Code §58.1-3965, et seq., to enforce its delinquent tax liens against the following real estate standing in the name of Virginia Murphy, et al.:

Map and Parcel No.: 138 059 1 20 Brief Description: 1106 South Street, Franklin, Va.

An affidavit having been filed that the Plaintiff used due diligence, without effect, to locate Virginia Murphy, Kenny Wayne Murphy and the unknown heirs, devises and successors of Roy Andrew Murphy and Jean M. Odom these individuals’ names and addresses are unknown; and there may be others who have an interest in the property who names and addresses are unknown, including but not limited to those claiming through the aforementioned parties, all such persons made defendants as “Parties Unknown.”

It is ORDERED that this Order be published at least once a week for two successive weeks in the Tidewater News, a newspaper of general circulation in Franklin, Virginia, and that the parties named herein appear at 11:00 a.m. on June 29, 2017, in the Southampton County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office and do what may be necessary to protect their respective interests.
